Why we built Retirable
We both spent years in finance, and we kept seeing the same thing. People who had saved their whole lives were on their own at the moment it mattered most: the day they stopped working and had to start living on that money.
Plenty of advisors set account minimums that leave ordinary savers out. Pensions gave way to 401(k)s that nobody was taught how to manage. And the industry, frankly, hasn't done much about it.
So we built the company we wished existed for our own parents. One that gives everyone the same care and attention, no matter how much they've saved.
